1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Nouman Khalil, Broker at RE/MAX Realty Specialists Inc., Brokerage (“I,” “me,” or “my”), collects, uses, and protects personal information submitted through nouman.ca. It's written to comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
2. Information I collect
When you use a form on this site — home valuation, property inquiry, Power of Sale alerts, or the newsletter signup — I collect what you provide directly: typically your name, email address, phone number, and property address. I don't collect payment information, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data through this site.
Basic technical information (such as general browser and device type) may be logged automatically by the hosting infrastructure (Vercel) for security and performance purposes. This site does not currently run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
3. How I use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, valuation request, or contact request
- To send Power of Sale or market alerts you've specifically signed up for
- To send newsletter updates you've subscribed to
- To maintain records related to real estate services, as required under Ontario regulation
I do not sell your personal information to third parties. Email communications sent as a result of a form submission comply with CASL — every marketing email includes a clear way to unsubscribe, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
4. Where your information is stored
Form submissions and account data are stored with Supabase, a cloud database provider, and this site is hosted on Vercel. Both providers maintain their own security and data-handling practices. If you're added to my email marketing list, that data may also be processed through Brevo, an email service provider, solely for the purpose of sending the communications you've opted into.
5. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing nouman.ca@icloud.com. You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email, or by contacting me directly.
6. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in how the site operates. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
